The Siren Lake ( English ; Bulgarian езеро Сирена esero Sirena ) is an oval, in southeast-northwest orientation 250 m long, 140 m wide and 2.7 hectare large lake on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the Byers Peninsula , it is 1.8 km east of Devils Point , 800 m east-southeast of the Lucifer Crags , 1 km southwest of Wasp Hill and 680 m north of Sevar Point near the western end of the South Beaches . A 55 to 70 m wide strip of land separates it from Raskuporis Cove .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2020 after the sirens from Greek mythology .
