The Sevar Point (English; Bulgarian нос Севар nos Sewar ) is a non-iced and low headland on the south coast of the Byers Peninsula in the far west of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms 1.9 km east-southeast of Devils Point , 2.71 km west of Nikopol Point and 2.97 km northeast of Long Rock the eastern limit of the entrance to Raskuporis Cove .
British scientists mapped them in 1968, Spanish in 1992 and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. The Bulgarian Commission on Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2006 after Sewar , Bulgarian Khan from 738 to 754.
