The Siri Fort Sports Complex is an indoor sports complex in New Delhi .
history
The arena was built for the Asian Games in 1982 by the Delhi Development Authority , which still operates the complex today. In the main hall there are 4748 seats. The arena offers opportunities for all common indoor sports, from basketball and swimming to tennis , squash and badminton . Another major event was the 2010 Commonwealth Games competitions in the hall . In badminton, the complex has hosted the annual India Super Series since 2011 .
