The Sirohi Point is a headland in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Alexandra chain , it is located on the northern flank of the mouth of the Alice Glacier in the Beardmore Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after the Indian biologist Giri Raj Singh Sirohi , who was the first Indian on the Antarctic continent to work at McMurdo Station from 1960 to 1961 .
