The Alice Glacier is an Antarctic glacier around 21 kilometers long , which flows into the Beardmore Glacier in the Queen Alexandra chain of the Transantarctic Mountains .
The Alice Glacier was first mapped by participants in the Nimrod Expedition (1907-1909) under the direction of the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton and named after Alice Marshall, mother of the chief expedition doctor Eric Marshall .
