Sissy de Mas

Sissy de Mas (born November 10, 1946 in Düsseldorf ) is a former German television presenter and sports editor. She worked for ZDF from 1971 to 2004 .

Career

With her club Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , she was the German junior runner-up in the 4 × 100 meter and she took part in the youth camp of the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. She then studied at the German Sport University in Cologne .

From 1971 Sissy de Mas was with ZDF. First she did a traineeship there , then she worked as a freelancer in the news and sports editorial offices . From 1978 to 1982 she was one of the moderators of the previous evening series Drehscheibe . In 1981 and 1982 she presented the current sport studio six times together with the former Dutch figure skater Joan Haanappel . She was also one of the moderators for the ZDF sports report , which was hosted on late Sunday afternoon . From 1982 she was responsible for the sports section in the heute news .

She hosted Sport Zeit Extra and Sport Zeit Nachrichten for 3sat . At the beginning of November 2004, she was retired from ZDF at the age of 58.
