The Sitka Bay is a small bay on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located 1.5 km west of Cape Buller .
In addition to the local name, the bay was also listed on maps and sea charts under the name Buller Bay for a long time . In the course of surveys carried out by the South Georgia Survey between 1951 and 1952, the former was found to be the more common. The further naming background has not been passed down.
