Skånland

Skånland ( Northern Sami : Skánit ) is a former municipality in Northern Norway in the former province ( Fylke ) Troms , today Troms og Finnmark . It became part of the municipality of Tjeldsund on January 1, 2020 as part of the local government reform in Norway .

The main town and administrative seat was Evenskjer with around 800 inhabitants.
