Skallen Ôike ( Japanese ス カ ー レ ン 大 池 'Skallen-Großer-See' ) is a lake on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It lies in the middle of the Skallen group of hills .
Japanese cartographers mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs from the years 1957 to 1969. They named it in 1972 based on the name of the group of hills.
