The Skanseryggen ( Norwegian for hill ridge ) is a mountain ridge up to 2694 m high in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises on the south side of Mefjell in the south-central part of Sør Rondane .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988.
