The Skaptopara Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Скаптопара saliw Skaptopara ) is a 1.8 km wide and 600 m long bay on the north coast of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is northwest of Mount Plymouth and northeast of Sevtopolis Peak .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the Thracian city of Skaptopara , the forerunner of the Bulgarian city of Blagoevgrad .
