The 2003 Junior Skeleton World Championship was the first edition of the Junior Skeleton World Championship . It was held in the Schönau district of Königssee on the Königssee artificial ice rink . In the women's category, the German skeleton pilot Julia Eichhorn secured the premiere title. In the men's category, the German skeleton rider Frank Kleber won the first-ever Junior World Championship with a lead of almost a second in the German triple victory.
