Simon Wiesheu is a former German skeleton pilot .

Simon Wiesheu from BSC Munich took part in national and international skeleton competitions in the first half of the 2000s. In November 2000 he contested his first race in the framework of the European Skeleton Cup in Igls and finished 24. In January 2003, also in Igls, he took part in a skeleton World Cup race for the first time , which he finished 27th. He then won a European Cup race in Königssee . A month later he contested a second World Cup race in Altenberg , where he was 12th. At the Junior World Championships in Königssee in 2003, he only had to admit defeat to Frank Kleber and Matthias Biedermann .

Wiesheu won the national junior title in 2001, and in 2002 he finished second behind Wolfram Lösch . He finished seventh in the 2001 German Skeleton Championship , tenth in 2002 and 2003 , and seventh again in 2004 .
