The 37th German Skeleton Championship 2003 was held on December 22, 2002 in Winterberg . There was one event for women and one for men. Both were carried out in two runs.

It was only in the second run that Willi Schneider was able to catch Florian Grassl, who was leading after the first run, thanks to the fastest run time and celebrate his ninth and last German championship title within eleven years. Wolfram Lösch and Frank Kleber came third at the same time.
