German Skeleton Championship 2005

The 39th German Skeleton Championship 2005 was held on January 8, 2005 on the Altenberg racing sledge and bobsleigh track . There was one event for women and one for men. Both were held in two runs.

A total of 16 participants took part. As expected, the top positions were occupied by the national team athletes. Matthias Biedermann became German champion for the first time. He benefited from a particularly good first run. The performance gap between the national team athletes and the rest of the participants was considerable.

A total of 14 participants took part. Diana Sartor became the superior master for the third and last time . She achieved the fastest time in both races. The performance gap between the national team athletes and the rest of the participants was considerable.
