German Skeleton Championship 2001

The 35th German Skeleton Championship 2001 was held on January 14, 2001 on the combined ice rink at Königssee . There was one event for women and one for men. Both were carried out in two runs.

A total of 19 registered participants took part. Dirk Matschenz won his first title as German champion after an outstanding second run, although Andy Böhme was still ahead of him after the first run .
