The Krvavec ski area is located in the Kamniške Alpe (Steiner Alps) in Slovenia .

The small area is located on the southern edge of the Steiner Alps, in the municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem . It is the most important ski area in Slovenia, 25 km from the capital Ljubljana , 17 km from Kranj and 35 km from Bled .

It stretches from about 1450  m over Zveh  ( 1971  m. Y. Y. ), Krvavec  ( 1853  m. Y. Y. ) And Kržišče  ( 1658  m. Y. Y. ). The area is considered to be very snow reliable, 100 days are guaranteed, 150 days are common. The Krvavec transmitter of the Slovenian radio is also located on Krvavec .

Infrastructure

The ski area extends over 94 hectares and has 30 km of slopes (easy 7 km, medium 15 km, difficult 7 km freeride / route 1 km). There is a cable car, 7 chair lifts and 3 drag lifts. 95% of the slopes can be snowed. There is also a snow park with a mogul slope, halfpipe, boarder cross, 50 and 70 m ski jumps. In addition, 3 km of trails are groomed and a toboggan run with a length of 300 m is designated.
