Skineater is a Swedish death metal band from Sala that was formed in 2008.
history
The band was formed in 2008 by guitarist Håkan Stuvemark after he left his position as bassist on GrandExit . Shortly afterwards, Jeramie Kling joined the group as drummer. In the summer of 2009 the band recorded two songs at Jonas Kjellgren's house called Dismantling and He Was Murdered . Kling also took over the vocals. In the autumn of the same year, the band got in touch with various labels, but was not yet able to get a contract with any label. In February 2011 Stefan Westerberg, drummer at Carnal Forge , joined the band as bassist. A short time later, the band reached a contract with Pulverized Records . The debut album Dermal Harvest was released in February 2012 on this label.

The band plays classic death metal, in the style of groups like Bloodbath , At the Gates , Defleshed and Morbid Angel .
