Skirmantas Mockevičius
Skirmantas Mockevičius (born December 18, 1965 in Smalininkai near Jurbarkas ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of the Jurbarkas district since 2015 .
Life
From 1976 to 1983 he completed the violin class at the Jurbarkas Children's Music School. After graduating from secondary school in Smalininkai from 1973 to 1984, he completed compulsory service in the Soviet Army and from 1986 to 1991 the diploma course in mechanics at the Mechanization Faculty of Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 2000 to 2004 he completed a bachelor's degree in law at Lietuvos teisės universitetas and from 2004 to 2006 a master's degree in law with a specialization in financial law at Mykolo Romerio universitetas .
From 1993 to 1995 he worked in the police force of the Jurbarkas district and from 1995 to 1998 in the Valstybinė mokesčių inspekcija (VMI) tax office . From 1999 he headed the Jurbarkas subdivision in the Tauragė district of the VMI.
