Skołoszów is a village and Schulzenamt ( sołectwo ) in the rural municipality of Radymno in the Jarosławski powiat in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . The village has about 1500 inhabitants.
From 1973 to 1974 the place was the seat of the rural community Gmina Skołoszów until it was moved to the city of Radymno , which, however, does not belong to the Gmina. The rural community was named Radymno and has 11,451 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019).
geography
The village is located on a loess plateau in the valley of the lower San . The Rada stream flows through the village . The city of Radymno is located in the north, only two kilometers away, and the Ukrainian border is twenty kilometers away.
Administrative history
Until the Second World War , Skołoszów belonged to the Lviv Voivodeship of the Second Polish Republic . From 1945 to 1975 the place and region belonged to the Rzeszów Voivodeship and to the Przemyśl Voivodeship until 1998 .
Culture and sport
The village has a large parish church, consecrated in 1994, and a school with a secondary branch. The football club plays in the fifth division.
