Slott Vanås Sculpture Park
The Slott Vanås Sculpture Park is located by Slott Vanås (also Wanås) near Knislinge in the Swedish municipality of Östra Göinge ( Skåne län ).
history
The sculpture park was built in 1987 on a castle from the 15th century. The collection includes more than 40 works by international sculptors and artists of Land Art and installation art . Since 2005, temporary exhibitions have taken place in the stable building, which was built in 1759.
In 2007, to mark the 20th anniversary of the sculpture park, an anniversary exhibition was held with works by Louise Bourgeois ( Maman ), Fernando Sánchez Castillo and Jan Svenungsson.
