The Sky Lounge Wheel (formerly Mega Wheel Millennium Star ) is the third largest transportable Ferris wheel in the world, with a diameter of 56.70 meters. It belongs to the Oscar Bruch jr. The Ferris wheel was built by the Bavarian manufacturer Gerstlauer Amusement Rides in Münsterhausen near Augsburg .

Originally conceived for Expo 01 in Switzerland, the Ferris wheel had its premiere a year earlier, at Expo 2000 . In 2009 Oskar Bruch jun. Took over. from Düsseldorf the Ferris wheel from Hablützel & Bruch AG, which is now a consulting company.

Others

Both the second largest transportable Ferris wheel in the world, the Steiger 60 meter Ferris wheel , and the Mega Wheel Millennium Star were both manufactured in Germany. In contrast to the Steiger Ferris wheel, the gondolas are all provided with plastic glazing, which means a certain level of comfort (wind protection) for the passengers, but is unfavorable when taking photos.
