Sky and Sand is a song by the producer brother couple Paul and Fritz Kalkbrenner . It's a techno track with vocals. The production is by Paul Kalkbrenner, text and vocals by Fritz Kalkbrenner. The title was recorded as the title song of the film Berlin Calling by Hannes Stöhr . It appeared on the film's soundtrack in 2008 and was also released as a single on vinyl and CD in 2009 on the BPitch Control label.

Usage and cover versions
Outside of the film Berlin Calling , Sky and Sand has been used by the energy supplier RWE as background music for a TV commercial since 2011 .
The song was played by the Attraction Black Light Theater in the edition of the Ultimate Chart Show "The Most Successful Evergreens of All Time" on March 7, 2014.
The English monk choir Gregorian covered the song on their CD Epic Chants .
