Skye Sweetnam
Skye Alexandra Sweetnam (born May 5, 1988 in Bolton , Ontario ) is a Canadian rock singer .
life and work
Sweetnam released their first single in 2003, "Billy S." . In 2004 she was the supporting act for Britney Spears on their Onyx Hotel Tour . Her debut album Noise from the Basement - produced with songwriter and producer James Robertson - was released on September 21, 2004 on Capitol Records . Other singles were "Tangled Up In Me" and "Number One" .
In 2007 she worked with Tim Armstrong , the result was the single "Into Action". On October 30, 2007, their second album Sound Soldier was released in Canada , which was overseen by the same production team as the debut of Avril Lavigne, often used as a comparison to Sweetnam .
Now known by her stage name 'Sever', Sweetnam is the front woman of the Canadian punk metal band 'Sumo Cyco'.
