Sløtface (formerly Slutface ) is a Norwegian pop-punk band from Stavanger .

history

The band was formed in 2012 after singer Haley Shea and guitarist Tor-Arne Vikingstad started writing songs together. In order to put this into practice, they were joined by drummer Halvard Skeie Wiencke and bassist Lasse Lokøy.

The band released their first EP called Slutface in 2013. The following year they released their second EP called We're Just OK . In summer 2015 she signed a contract with the Norwegian music label Propeller Recordings. In October 2015 Sløtface released the songs Shave My Head and Get My Own , followed by Kill Em With Kindness in January 2016. These three songs together with the song Sponge State formed the band's third EP of the same name, which was released in May 2016. In November 2016, Sløtface released their fourth EP with Empire Records .

Her debut album Try Not to Freak Out was released on September 15, 2017 . In spring 2018, Sløtface won the Norwegian music award Spellemannprisen in the rock category with her debut album .

In the summer of 2018, the drummer Halvard Skeie Wiencke decided to leave the band. He was later replaced by Nils Jørgen Nilsen.

On January 31, 2020, the band released their second album entitled Sorry for the late Reply .
