Slatine on Čiovo

Slatine is a small place on the island of Čiovo in Croatia . The place is located about 7 kilometers from Trogir . Slatine has 1,106 inhabitants (as of 2011), but most of them only have a weekend cottage and are therefore only in Slatine in summer. The inhabitants live mainly from fishing and tourism. The place is connected to Trogir by bus. In summer there is also a boat connection with Split . The place belongs to the city administration of Split.

The pilgrimage church of Prizidnica on the south side of the island of Čiovo is worth seeing . It is only 4 kilometers away from Slatine and was built directly into the rock of the island with several priests.
