The Slav Point (English, Bulgarian нос Слав nos slaw ) is an ice-covered headland at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the east side of the Churchill Peninsula , it is located 28.9 km north of Cape Alexander , 33.2 km south of Gulliver Nunatak and 33.7 km west of Veier Head on the north side of the entrance to Zimen Inlet .
British scientists mapped them in 1974. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2013 after the Bulgarian despot Alexius Slaw , who ruled the Rhodope Mountains at the end of the 12th and beginning of the 13th centuries .
