Band history

Smegma was founded in Bad Bramstedt (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1992 and was one of the first German-speaking Oi! Bands in the mid-1990s to expressly take a stand against right-wing ideas. In the scene she is counted as a very important part of the anti-fascist skinhead movement of the 1990s. The band's slogan is Punx & Skins United .

In 1999 Smegma took part in the film Oi! Warning as the music group "rOi! Mkommando" and contributed to the soundtrack.

The band has since broken up. According to information on her Myspace page, there will be no reunion of Smegma. In order to promote their compilation Salary, Hab and Gut in 2009, the band still gave a few concerts ( Force Attack / Total-Oi!).
