Lars Lewerenz (born February 18, 1977 in Henstedt-Ulzburg ) is the founder and owner of the Hamburg ElectroPunk label Audiolith Records .

Life

Lewerenz grew up in Schleswig-Holstein and trained as a system mechatronics engineer and educator. In the early 2000s he took care of the European releases of the US label Dim Mak Records by Steve Aoki and played in the band Dos Stilettos . In 2003 he founded the label Audiolith Records in Hamburg and released the 7 "single Both Sides Of The Ocean by The Dance Inc. In the following years the label grew, and musicians and bands like Bratze , Egotronic , Frittenbude , Saalschutz came along and Plemo added.

In November 2010, at the award ceremony of the HANS - The Hamburg Music Prize , he destroyed his award with a hatchet after he had declared in his acceptance speech that he did not want to be mentioned in one sentence with Hans Albers , for whom the abbreviation for the Hamburg Music Prize also stands .

In 2009 he accompanied the Audiolith artist ClickClickDecker as a bassist on concerts in German-speaking countries.

At concerts he plays electronic music as a DJ under the pseudonym Das Audiolith .
