Smiid (also: Smyth Island ) is a tiny island in Somalia . Politically, it belongs to Jubaland .

geography

The island is located directly off the coast of the Kuwaajuule peninsula , together with Matunga-iyo-Baaba , Bishikaani , Salooto Feerde and Seerbeenti it is one of the northernmost islands of the Bajuni Islands . To the east of Smiid lies the single island of Koordaada on a second reef edge .

climate

The climate is tropical hot monsoon climate .
