The Smolyan Point (English; Bulgarian нос Смолян nos Smoljan ) is a headland on Pimpirev Beach on the south coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 3.57 km northwest of Cape Hesperides and 1.92 km northeast of Ereby Point . It ends in a 25 m wide and 4 m high rock formation.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 1997 after the city of Smolyan in southern Bulgaria .
