The Smrk (German Ficht ) is a mountain in the Czech Republic . Its summit is 400 m from the border with Poland and is 1125 m above sea level. M. the highest mountain in the Reichensteiner Mountains .

geography

The mountain is located five kilometers northwest of the Ramsau saddle and three kilometers north of Petříkov ( Peterswald ) in the extreme south of the Reichensteiner Mountains . The main ridge of the Bielengebirge connects to the west . The Smrk massif also includes the secondary peaks Luční vrch ( meadow mountain, 995 m), Brusek ( whetstone ridge , 1115 m) and Smrek (1107 m). The twin peaks of Travná hora ( Dornhauhübel , 1120 m) and Postawna ( Formberg , 1110 m), two kilometers to the southwest, are the highest peaks in the Bielengebirge.

400 meters north-west of the summit is 1111 m above sea level. M. the Dreigrenzpass (Przełęcz u Trzech Granic), the historical triangle between Moravia , Silesia and the County of Glatz .

The completely forested mountain only grants in certain places, such as B. on the Dreigrenzpass, view. The mountain huts Solná chata and Luční chata are located. The Brousek spring is located below the Solná chata. The mountain is the intersection of several hiking trails.

The rivers Biała Lądecka ( Landecker Biele ), Staříč ( Starritz ), Stříbrný potok ( Schlippwasser ) and Branná ( Bord ) have their source on the Smrk .
