The Snøhetta ( Norwegian for Schneekoppe ) is an almost completely snow-capped, dome-shaped mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . He penetrates 5 km east of the Hornet in the Regula chain of Ahlmannryggen on.
Norwegian cartographers named the mountain descriptively and mapped it based on aerial photographs and surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
