Socialist Equality Party (Australia)
The Socialist Equality Party is a Trotskyist party in Australia and the section of the International Committee of the Fourth International there . It emerged from the Socialist Labor League founded in 1972 .
The party took part in the 2016 general election . Nick Beams was its chairman from 1985 to 2015, and James Cogan is his successor.
