Sol Romero (* 1984 in Mexico City ; bourgeois Solveig Eleanor Campbell Romero ) is a in Los Angeles live singer and actress .

biography

She has a Swiss mother and a Mexican father. When Sol Romero was 13, she took singing lessons for the first time. In 1999 she moved with her family from Mexico City to the tourist town of San Miguel de Allende , where she starred as a double in the film " Once Upon a Time in Mexico ". In the same year, her father died in a traffic accident. In 2004 she played in the film " Legend of Zorro ". She then went to London , where she took acting classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art .

In 2006 she married director Martin Campbell and settled in Los Angeles. The couple have a daughter (* 2007).

In 2007 she performed several times at the Howard Fine Studio in Los Angeles. Also in 2007 she made the short film “My Name is Arlein” in Switzerland . In 2008 she wrote the songs "Running" and "Missing You". In 2011 Sol Romero's first music video was created for the song "BiPolar Love". In September 2011 she shot her second video for the song "Y did you leave" in Switzerland. There she met the Swiss musician Florian Ast , who recorded a song he had composed with her in his Swiss studio. The two were a couple from August 2012 to February 2013.
