Pierre Lingelser

Pierre Lingelser (* 1960 in Alsace ) is a German-French confectioner , pastry chef and specialist book author.

Life

After high school he completed an apprenticeship as a pastry chef in the Belle Chocolatière pastry shop in Strasbourg- Brueckel from 1977 to 1979 . After graduating as "the best apprentice in Alsace", he gained experience in hotel patisserie and in confectioneries in Alsace, Switzerland and Germany . In 1985 he received the master craftsman's certificate. In 1992 he finally moved to the Black Forest parlor of the Hotel Traube in Baiersbronn-Tonbach as head pastry chef under the leadership of Harald Wohlfahrt .

Pierre Lingelser married in 1983 and has one son.

  • 1981 and 1986 gold medal at the Salon Gastronomique in Strasbourg in the sugar showpiece category
  • Pastry chef of the year 2004, Gault Millau
  • Pastry chef of the year 2009, Schlemmer Atlas
  • Cercle des Chefs - C3 competition first held in 2008 by Valrhona
