The Solari Bay (English, Bulgarian залив Солари saliw Solari ) is a 4,5 km long and 11.2 km wide bay at the Nordenskjöld Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located north of Balvan Point and south of the eastern foothills of Richard Knoll . The bay was created when the Larsen Ice Shelf broke up at the end of the 20th century and as a result of the subsequent retreat of the Drygalski Glacier .
It was mapped in 2012. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after a town in northern Bulgaria .
