The Balvan Point (English, Bulgarian нос Балван nos Balwan ) is a rocky headland on the Nordenskjöld Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms 4.35 km north of Pedersen Nunatak , 33.7 km northeast of Cape Fairweather , 2.7 km southeast of Sentinel Nunatak and 10.27 km south-southwest of Richard Knoll the south side of the entrance to Solari Bay .
It was mapped in 2012. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the town of Balwan in northern Bulgaria .
