Solenzo is both a municipality ( French commune urbaine ) and a department encompassing the same area in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the region of Boucle du Mouhoun and the province of Banwa . The municipality has 118,424 inhabitants in 30 villages and four sectors of the main town, making it one of the ten most populous municipalities in the country.
Solenzo is the capital of the province of Banwa.
