Solveig Wegener

Solveig Wegener , née Klügel (born March 1, 1962 in Berlin ) is a former German politician ( PDS ).

Wegener attended the Polytechnic Oberschule and Extended Oberschule in Berlin, where she graduated from high school in 1980. After a pre-study internship for agriculture in the Angermünde district , she studied agriculture at the Humboldt University in Berlin in the crop production section and thus became a qualified agricultural engineer. In 1986 she became a research assistant for soil and stock management in the VEG plant production in Strasburg .

Wegener became a member of the SED in 1988 , which later became part of the PDS. Via the list of the Neubrandenburg district , she succeeded in entering the last people 's chamber in the GDR in 1990 . After reunification, she was a member of the Bundestag until December .
