The Somero Glacier is 11 km long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains it flows from Mount Fairweather in a north-westerly direction to the Liv Glacier , which it reaches immediately south of the western foothills of the Duncan Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after George N. Somero, biologist of the United States Antarctic Research Program at McMurdo Station from 1963 to 1964 and in the Antarctic winter of 1965.
