The Somoveken is a 60 km long glacier in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It flows between the Orvinfjella and the Wohlthat massif in the Fimbulheimen mountains , joins the Glopeken glacier and flows into the Lasarew Ice Shelf .

The name of the glacier goes back to Norwegian scientists. It is named after the Soviet oceanographer and polar explorer Michail Somow (1908–1973). In Russia he is also known as Lednik Gornowo Instituta ( Russian Ледник Горного Института , Mining Institute Glacier ' ).
