Soner Ergençay (born August 25, 1988 in Urla ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Ergençay began club football in the youth of his home club Urla Gençlikspor . Here he was nominated for the Turkish U-16 national team and this nomination attracted attention to the larger clubs. The traditional Istanbul club Beşiktaş signed him for his reserve team. In 2005 he received a professional contract with Beşiktaş, but continued to play for two years for the reserve team. In 2007 he took part in the pre-season preparation camp of the professional team and was then loaned to Inegölspor . After İnegölspor, Ergençay spent four more loan stations with various third and second division clubs.

In the summer, Ergençay finally left Beşiktaş and hired third division Adana Demirspor . With this club he achieved the playoff victory of the league in the third division season 2011/12 and thus promotion to the TFF 1st Lig .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor .

National team

Ergençay went through the Turkish U-16 and U-17 national team .
