Sonic Flood ( Sonic Flood ) is a US-based Christian pop - band , which in 1999 Nashville , Tennessee was founded.
The 1999 debut album Sonicflood received the Dove Award from the Gospel Music Association in the “Praise and Worship Album” category. In 2001 the album Sonicpraise was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category "Best Gospel Rock Album" .

In 1999 the band was founded by ex-lead singer Jeff Deyo, guitarist Mark Lee Townsend, keyboardist Jason Halbert and bassist Otto Price. None of the mentioned founders is in the band today.
