Sophia of Minden

Sophia von Minden (* around 304 (?)) Is venerated as a holy martyr in East Westphalia .

The exact type and time of their martyrdom can no longer be named. The relics were transferred to Minden in Westphalia at the time of Charlemagne (748–814) . There she is venerated as a martyr for Christ. Her feast day is celebrated on September 3rd.

Sophia of Minden is possibly identical to Sophia of Rome .
