Sophie Marie-Lise Davant (born May 19, 1963 in Bordeaux ) is a French journalist , television presenter and actress .

life and work

Sophie Davant's father is Pierre Davant, professor of biology. Her mother was a researcher in cell biology († 1983). Sophie Davant grew up in the municipality of Cestas in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . After completing her baccalaureate , she completed her studies in applied foreign languages ​​(English and German) in Bordeaux with a master’s degree . In 1985 she completed a six-month training course at the Institut de journalisme Bordeaux Aquitaine . After an eight-week internship (1986) at the French television station Antenne 2, Sophie Davant first worked for the daily news program 19/20 .
