life and career

Vouzelaud was born deaf . She is currently doing her bachelor's degree in accounting.

Vouzelaud is the first deaf or hard of hearing person to participate in a Miss France finals. She communicates using sign language and insisted on giving a speech at the finale. Vouzelaud requested, with the approval and support of Miss France 2007, to represent Rachel Legrain-Trapani , France in the Miss World election, in order to draw attention to deaf people. The organizers refused, however, on the grounds that only the winner - in this case Legrain-Trapani - is allowed to represent her home country.

In the 2007 Miss International election in Japan , Vouzelaud failed to qualify for the top 15.

In 2015 she took part in the sixth season of the French dance show Danse avec les stars .
