Sotirios Zarianopoulos
Sotirios Zarianopoulos ( Greek Σωτήριος Ζαριανόπουλος , born February 16, 1961 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek politician of the Communist Party of Greece . He has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014 .
Sotirios Zarianopoulos worked as a bank clerk from 1981. He had been a member of the leadership of the Communist Party of Greece since 2006. He was also a member of the Executive Secretariat of the Militant Workers' Front since 2008 . Zarianopoulos was elected to the European Parliament in 2014. There he is a member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs , the special committee on tax decisions and measures of a similar nature or with comparable consequences and the delegation to the EU-Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee.
