Career

society

Diallo began his career in 2005 at ASAC Concorde , one of the most renowned clubs in Mauritania. Since 2009 he has been guarding the gate for ASC Tevragh Zeïna .

National team

He made his debut for the Mauritanian national team on May 31, 2008 in a qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup against Rwanda , but his debut was less successful as Mauritania lost the game 3-0. In the following qualifying games, too, he often had to go behind him: Against Morocco they lost 4-1 twice, against Ethiopia 6-1. Diallo conceded 18 goals in the entire qualification for the 2010 World Cup. Nevertheless, he was able to assert himself in goal, albeit favored by the rather weak competition, and has been Mauritania's regular goalkeeper since his debut. In the following years the defensive performance improved and Diallo did not concede more than three goals in any game, in four games he remained clean. Only in a friendly against Morocco on October 12, 2014, which Mauritania lost 5-0, he conceded more than three goals again.
