Soumaïla Tassembédo (born November 27, 1983 in Péni , Upper Volta , today Burkina Faso ) is a football player from the West African state of Burkina Faso.

He began his career with Étoile Filante Ouagadougou in the Burkinabe capital and in 2004 moved to Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova . He has been without a club since 2008, in 2009 he completed a trial training at Alemannia Aachen .

Tassembédo plays for the Burkinabe national soccer team and took part in the 2002 African Cup of Nations and the qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
